Carrier offers high-paying career on the road with paid training at no cost

Williamsport, MD. -- With a driver shortage threatening the freight transportation industry, Williamsport-based DM Bowman is attracting prospective drivers by offering not only free professional training but also pay during the training.

“We are being very selective, choosing only 20 individuals to start this program,” says Gary Kelley, Director of Recruiting. “If you’re ready to get out of an office or factory or wherever and get a great opportunity with a strong company, this is really an excellent way to start.”

According to Kelley, recruits will participate in a 12-week training program to be a commercial flatbed truck driver. Valued between $3,000 and $6,000, the training costs the recruit nothing. In addition, recruits will be paid $500 per week during training.

The training program includes three weeks at the Williamsport terminal and nine weeks teaming with a driver trainer on the road. After that, the recruit is ready to begin earning money on their own.

“Flatbed drivers are really the most versatile of all commercial drivers because they can haul anything – van, tanker or flatbed,” says Kelley. “They earn higher pay and can work in any of our divisions.”

Individuals interested in this limited time opportunity to begin a new high-earning career, should visit D.M. Bowman at 10226 Governor Lane Blvd, Suite 4009 in Williamsport. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

D. M. Bowman, Inc. was founded in Williamsport, Md. in 1959 and has facilities in Indianapolis, Ind.; York and Somerset, Pa.; Huntersville, Olin and Thomasville, N.C.; Salem, Va.; Washington Courthouse, Ohio; and Frederick and Williamsport, Md.

"An apology from L.J. Kennedy Trucking to the drivers we don't hire."

Lj_kennedy_trucking
Every time we review thirty applications, we disappoint twenty-nine applicants. (But, we do delight one elite professional).

Look, we don’t try to convince every driver that they belong with us. Actually, we’re only seeking the top drivers.

Our hiring criteria is demanding. But that’s why our drivers can be so demanding. And that’s why we pay our drivers so well. (Not to mention why we have one of the smallestpayroll deductions in the trucking
business for family medical coverage).

  • $1,095* per week/avg. pay

  • Family medical insurance

  • Home weekends

  • Company-paid pension plan
  • Did you know that our qualified drivers receive a company-paid pension? And are home each weekend?

Maybe that explains why our turnover-rate is 29%, while the industry turnover-rate exceeds 130%. Turnover-rates tell you a lot about driver satisfaction, don’t they?

If you want to be a part of one of America’s most selective carriers, call us now.

The better you know us, the better we look.

    (866) I-WANT-LJ(866) 492-6855

WARNING: Our work is for tough people. Heavy tarps. Climbing. But, our drivers receive family medical benefits with little or no payroll deduction. And, a pension. Home on weekends. Typically earn $56,940 per year. If you think L. J. Kennedy may be right for you, consult one of our recruiters NOW!

*This claim about driver pay has been reviewed by Wiss & Company,
one of America’s largest independent accounting firms.

“L. J. Kennedy Trucking: Ask our drivers about us.”
