Barr-Nunn Driver Proud to see Matt Kenseth Come in 1st in the O`Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway

Barrnunn_transportation
Granger, IA. -- On April 14th, 2007, you could barely hear the crowd’s cheers over the roar of the engines as the race cars flew around the track. Among the thousands of spectators yelling for their favorite drivers were Roger Roberts, a driver for Barr-Nunn Transportation, his daughter and his son-in-law.

They stood tall and proud in the Pits at Texas Motor Speedway because they were there as part of the Barr-Nunn and Roush Fenway Team. They listened intently for the names and places of each Roush Fenway Driver as the announcer came on the loud speaker.

It was nearing the end of the race and Matt Kenseth was in the lead. The cars rounded the final curve, approached the finish line and the checkered flag was waved! “The Number 17 car, Matt Kenseth, finishes in 1st Place,” the announcer stated.

Roger and his family cheered and applauded and felt as though they just had a bit of a personal victory because of their association with Barr-Nunn and Roush Fenway.

“We had a really good time!” Roger said. “The weather turned around but I could tell the drivers were still having a really hard time pushing against the elements. We were just proud to be able to leave knowing that Matt Kenseth and his team, some of Roush Fenway’s finest, had won the race!”

Just as it is impossible for one NASCAR Driver to race without a team, Barr-Nunn Transportation highlights the need for a team environment in the company. So, from the drivers to the dispatchers to the recruiters and the management team, Barr-Nunn ensures that everyone will be supported as part of the team.

To find out more about how Barr-Nunn anticipates and responds to the needs of its people; offers outstanding pay packages, including the new Practical Miles Pay Program; gives drivers all the advantages they deserve call 888-999-7576 or go to www.barr-nunn.com or www.barrnunnracing.com.
