CINCINNATI, OH. -- Great American Insurance Group's Trucking Division announced the start of its Big Rig Giveaway sweepstakes for 2012, marking the sixth year of Great American's sponsorship. The 2012 grand prize is a customized Peterbilt 387 to be awarded to a lucky sweepstakes participant at the Mid America Truck Show on March 24, 2012.
The economy has been a challenge for many people, including truck drivers, said Tim Clinton, Divisional Vice President, Marketing, Great American Insurance Trucking Division. "We have a long history of supporting this vital industry, and we're pleased to be able to lend a hand any way we can. Truckers help keep America moving, and we're happy to help protect drivers and keep them on the road."
Subject to certain limitations, any trucker with a valid U.S. Class A commercial driver license is eligible to participate. You can register online and find details at www.GreatAmericanTrucker.com . Registrations will also be taken in person at Great American's booth (#69172) at the Mid America Truck Show in Louisville, Kentucky, from March 22 - 24.
Over the past five years, more than 30,000 drivers have registered to win a rig through the promotion. Previous Big Rig Giveaway winners from Iowa, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Ohio and Kentucky were chosen randomly and have taken home Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth and Volvo rigs.
