Beacon Transport is an irregular route truckload carrier based out of Nashville, TN servicing the Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and California. We haul general dry freight that is non-hazardous materials.
We are able to provide superior customer service by providing each client with a dedicated customer service representative. Some of our clients consist of John Deere, Michelin, Carrier Corporation, Frito-Lay, Electrolux Home Products & Bridgestone/Firestone, just to name a few.
We have assigned fleet managers for each of our tractors and drivers. This allows us to have one on one contact with our drivers and equipment. We run 3 year old or newer Volvo 670 Condo tractors as well as 5 year old or newer 53 ft airride Lufkin trailers. All our tractors are equipped with Qualcomm satellite systems, PrePass, EZ Pass & I-Pass.
Compensation
- Safety/Performance Bonus - $0.02 per mile paid quarterly
- Performance review every six (6) months -up to 1/2 cent per mile increase
- $20 for each additional pickup or drop
- $35 per day for layover after the first 24 hours
- Vacation - 1 week after 1 year & 2 weeks after 5 years
- Pay is based upon verifiable tractor trailer experience
- Paid 2 day orientation
