Black River Falls, Wis. – The National Transportation Institute (NTI) has recently named Millis Transfer, a Wisconsin-based dry van truckload company, as a certified Top Pay Carrier in a recent independent survey of driver wages. This prestigious certification, which belongs to only a small number of carriers, requires an in-depth look into a carrier’s pay and benefits package and driver W-2 forms.
“We at Millis are honored to be named a top paying carrier,” said Reid Ransom, human resources director for Millis Transfer. “NTI’s certification tells new drivers, and reaffirms to our current drivers, that we continue to be one of the best in the industry when it comes to driver pay.”
NTI provides accurate and authoritative mission critical benchmarks to truckload carriers. The certification process evaluates a carrier’s driver pay, health and retirement benefits, and financial stability. The results of the evaluation process are then compared against other carriers to generate the top 20 percent of top paying carriers in the industry.
Millis’s award-winning top pay and excellent benefits package includes health, dental, vision, prescription, short-term disability and life insurance. The company also provides a strong 401k plan, late model equipment, on-site schooling and plenty of home time
“We’re family-owned and operated, allowing Millis to be more encompassing and engaging with our drivers,” said Ransom. “Our certification as a top paying carrier is just a reminder that Millis is a company that truly cares about its drivers and wants to provide the best for them and their families.”
Opportunities are now available for company drivers and owner operators. Drivers must have a Class-A CDL with a minimum of six months experience. For more information on services or opportunities at Millis Transfer, call 800-937-0880 or visit www.millistransfer.com.
