Granger IA, - Barr-Nunn announced this week that they would once again be raising wages for members of their Owner Operator Pure Pay program. As of May 16, 2010, pay rates will rise to $1.00 per loaded mile and $0.80 per empty mile, plus fuel surcharge on all miles.
The raise comes on the heels of several others for both company drivers and owner operators. Supplementary features of Barr-Nunn’s program, such as Practical miles paid, driver controlled pay raises every 60,000 paid miles and 100% fuel discounts, create a fantastic opportunity for drivers to earn a first-rate living, a fact that Director of Recruiting, Jeff Blank, says he steadfastly strives for.
