SOUTH BOSTON, VA -- Saturday, April 19th was a special day for Barr-Nunn Transportation driver Michael Witt, his daughter, and VISVIVA #65 Chevrolet driver Mikey Kile.
Barr-Nunn, a proud associate sponsor of Mac Hill Motorsports, for which Kile drives, sent Witt and his 12-year-old girl to the Miller Lite 250 at the South Boston Speedway, where they watched from the excitement of the pit area as the rookie placed 3rd.
“It was our first time attending the races,” said Witt, whose daughter began a fascination with racing by driving go-karts. “We had a really great time until it started to rain, but it was exhilarating overall.”
Witt shared in that exhilaration with Kile, who had a successful and eventful day. In the very first race of his career, Kile earned the Miller Lite Rookie of the Race award on top of his high placing.
“It was an honor to be able to participate in the race,” Kile said. “I would like to thank Barr-Nunn for sponsoring the races and making it possible for drivers to do what it is they do.” Kile said he aims for continued success and the Miller Lite Rookie of the Year award.
Barr-Nunn likes to go the extra mile for its drivers and their families in exchange for their hard work. For more information on Barr-Nunn Transportation, please call 888-999-7576 or go to www.barr-nunn.com.
