DECKER TRUCK LINE HONORS FEBRUARY DRIVERS OF THE MONTH

FORT DODGE, Iowa -- Decker Truck Line, Inc. recently announced their Drivers of the Month for February 2008. Willie Ingram was selected for the honor from Decker’s Flatbed division, and Larry Beasley received the award for the Reefer/Van division.
Willie Ingram is a part of Decker’s Southern Flatbed division based out of Birmingham, Ala. Robbie Walker, Ingram’s dispatcher, spoke very highly of his work. “Willie has done an excellent job since he came on board with Decker,” Walker said.
Ingram lives in Lancaster, S.C., and has two children Elijah and Doniesha. He enjoys reading, exercising and playing basketball, when he is not on the road for Decker. But, more than anything he enjoys spending time with his children.
Larry Beasley celebrates 20 years with Decker Truck Line in December of this year. Myndi McCart has been Larry’s dispatcher for the past year and a half. “Beas is good at making me laugh,” Myndi said. “And he always helps me out when I need him”.
Larry resides in Silvis, Ill., and when he is not working he enjoys the great game of golf. And, if Larry isn’t playing golf, he’s wishing he were playing.
Each month at Decker, dispatchers nominate drivers and owner-operators based on overall service and performance for that month. Operational productivity, safety records, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll and billing, and customer service, are evaluated for each driver nominee to determine who is most deserving of the honor.
Each monthly award winner from December 2007 through November 2008 is eligible to receive the award for 2008 Driver (or Owner-Operator) of the Year.
