January Driver/Owner-Operator of the Month

Decker Truck Line, Inc. is pleased to announce that Mike Juhl was selected as the January 2007 Driver/Owner-Operator of the Month for the Flatbed division. Mike has been at Decker Truck Line for four years now. Mike and his wife Renee reside in Somers, Iowa and enjoy their family time when Mike is not hard at work. Congratulations, Mike!

Selected as Driver of the Month for the Reefer/Van division was Rodney Knapp. Rodney has been with Decker Truck Line for 16 years. For the last three years he has been one of a group of three drivers that hauls animal pharmaceutical products on a dedicated route. Rodney and his wife Connie reside in Charles City, Iowa and enjoy camping (weather permitting, of course) when Rodney is not working. Congratulations, Rodney!

Drivers and owner-operators are nominated each month by their dispatcher, and are selected based on their overall performance within all areas of the company, including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance/care of equipment (including idle time), payroll and billing and customer service. All drivers and owner-operators who are selected as a Driver of the Month will be eligible to be chosen as Driver/Owner-Operator of the Year.
