CTL Announces The 2006 Bull Dog of the Year

Mulberry, Fla. — CTL Transportation is proud to announce that the first recipient of the Bull Dog of the Year Award goes to Mr. Kenny Dawson, Professional Tank Truck Driver, located at the Atlanta, Ga., terminal.

“One might say Kenny has an uncanny way of starting things off the right way!” said Ken Wieck, Director of Human Resources and Driver Recruiting. “Exactly one year ago this month in January of 2006 Kenny was selected as CTL’s very first Bull Dog of the Month. Once again in January 2007 we are here to recognize him as CTL’s very first Bull Dog of the Year!”

The intent of CTL’s Bull Dog Award is to recognize coworkers, on a monthly basis, who display great character, integrity, professionalism, and performance or improvement in performance. Since starting the award in 2005, 17 CTL coworkers have been recognized as Bull Dogs. Of these 17 award winners, only one is recognized as the Bull Dog of the Year. To be recognized as the Bull Dog of the Year is a great accomplishment.

A Professional Driver with CTL for over eight years now, Kenny has worked hard to be the best transportation professional he can possibly be. During his CTL career, his coworkers, along with the customers he serves on a daily basis, have recognized Kenny for his professionalism. One major account Kenny services says Kenny is an “outstanding driver who is well-trained and nice to work with.”

Kenny personifies what it means to be CTL’s very first Bull Dog of the Year: he is a man of character, displays professionalism wherever he goes, and most of all has persevered and worked diligently to improve his understanding of the rules and regulations that govern the transportation industry. CTL congratulates Kenny on this accomplishment and appreciates his contribution to the company.
