Blues Bash V Planned For Mid-America Trucking Show

Trucking company attendees at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY will have the opportunity to "Get a Hunk O'da Funk" at the Blues Bash V hosted by The Hightower Agency and American Graphics Group. The event will take place on Thursday, March 22 at Stevie Ray's Blues Bar and will also feature great food and an open bar.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and Q-Master Catering will be smoking chicken, pork tenderloin and several side items in Stevie Ray's Voodoo Garden. Robbie Cox, a solo acoustic artist, will entertain the crowd beginning at 7:00; and the headlining act, The Skyla Burrell Blues Band, will hit the stage from 9:00 until closing. Cox recently paired with Steppenwolf guitarist Danny Johnson for an original bluesy rock show at Stevie Ray's. Burrell leads one of the hard working, full-time blues bands in America, averaging 225+ shows a year. This Pennsylvania based band's live show consists of all original high energy hard-drivin' electric blues.
Todd Webster, the manager at Stevie Ray's, said guests of The Hightower Agency and American Graphics Group are in for a treat. "We wanted to have both a local musician and a regional touring act for the Blues Bash," Webster said. "These artists pack the house when they play Stevie Ray's and we know the Blues Bash is always a great event for us."
"We've had high energy musicians in the past and now we're bringing in two acclaimed acts for the best party of the Mid-America Trucking Show," Eddie Hightower, president of The Hightower Agency, said. "We are happy that our company and American Graphics Group secured Robbie Cox and The Skyla Burrell Blues Band for our customers to enjoy."
