DANNY O’QUINN, JR. HAS A DISAPPOINTING NIGHT AT TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY

    Roush_3
Danny O’Quinn, Jr. and the No. 50 World Financial Group and Associate Sponsored Barr-Nunn Transportation Ford Fusion

FORT WORTH, TX – After two consecutive weekends of top-ten finishes in both Charlotte and Memphis Danny O’Quinn, Jr. and the No. 50 World Financial Group and Associate Sponsored Barr-Nunn team came to Texas with plans to continue their streak of success.

After struggling with the setup through the three practice sessions on Friday and qualifying 39th on Friday night for Saturday’s event things were not looking up for the team.

The green flag dropped for the start of the O’Reilly Challenge at 1:00pm CDT. O’Quinn, Jr. gained a few spots right off the bat, but struggled to make up any more ground with a loose race car. Caution number one came out on lap five so the No. 50 World Financial Group and Associate Sponsored Barr-Nunn Ford came down pit road for a track bar adjustment and to top off the fuel cell.

Less than fifteen laps later the car was still too loose for O’Quinn, Jr. and with the next caution came his next pit stop. This time he took four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment in addition to another round down in the track bar.

This stop put O’Quinn, Jr. back out in 33rd position on the 33rd lap of the race.
By lap 60 the No. 50 car was one lap down and struggling to be the lucky dog in order to get back on the lead lap. Unfortunately, O’Quinn, Jr. never was able to get back on the lead lap.

After making several more adjustments to the car during the next two stops, one being a green flag stop on lap 80, O’Quinn, Jr. was still running back in 31st position and was then two laps down.

The team made the final stop of the day on lap 144 for tires and fuel and sent the No. 50 machine back out on the track with their fingers crossed.

O’Quinn, Jr. finished out the day in 30th position and three laps down.

“Today was definitely a disappointment for us,” said O’Quinn, Jr. “It seems like no matter what we did the car was just never right. Everybody runs wide open here and when the car is as loose as ours was today it makes it really difficult to do that. We have two more races before the season is over and I do not plan on having anymore like this one.”

“Steel Pin Solution for Easy Compliance with D.O.T. Tandem Weight Regulations”

CANFIELD, OH- Tandem Stoppers, LLC. has developed a new product revolutionizing the way truck drivers slide tandems. Tandem Stoppers Quality Steel Pins allow drivers to slide tandems safely and efficiently, without the added hassle of constant readjustment. The product, manufactured in Boardman, Ohio, is available through their website at www.tandemstoppers.com.

Efficiency and safety are primary goals for the trucking industry. Tandem Stoppers Quality Steel Pins are a durable, low-cost solution for truck drivers to keep in compliance with D.O.T. regulations. The pins simply slide into the desired hole, the driver will lock the trailer brake, slide forward or backward enabling the pin to lock into the desired location, and then remove the steel pin. The process is safe, fast and easy, allowing drivers to accurately distribute the trailer load on the first attempt.

Jeff Landis, C.E.O. of the company and 20-year truck driving veteran, originally created the steel pin for himself. He quickly discovered that fellow truck drivers also found his pin useful. Tandem Stoppers, LLC. Is now making this idea available to the public.

Tandem Stoppers take pride in the efficiency and durability of their product. Customers can take pride in knowing they are buying a quality product made right here in the U.S.A.

Jason and Lynetta Walls Have Found a Home at FFE

    Ffesmalllogo
Since joining FFE two years ago through FFE's Clean Slate Lease program, husband-wife team Jason and Lynetta Walls have accomplished much more than they ever expected. They successfully completed their truck lease, landed a dedicated run and now lease a new 2007 Freightliner Century Class with an APU through FFE 's Clean Slate Lease Program. It's not all business, though. The couple is proud to be home often, where they are able to spend time with their children.

Being able to succeed in building their business while still remaining grounded at home is one of the reasons that the Walls say they'll stay at FFE.

"Every time we go into the drivers' lounge, there are drivers that have been with the company 20 years," said Lynetta. "I have never seen so many drivers that have stayed at the same place for so long; there is a real sense of belonging and security here."

"Someone would have to drag me out of here kicking and screaming to get me to leave!" said Jason.

"The staff is great and they know you by name. This is our first time to lease a new truck and we really enjoy being able to decide where we want to run," added Lynetta.

The strong company support system at FFE has helped the Walls move their careers to the next level. Both are very happy to have a brand-new truck and Jason especially enjoys a dedicated run after so many years of coast to coast. Considering all they have been able to accomplish, the Walls agree that they've found a hidden gem in FFE.

"I don't think a lot of people know about FFE," said Lynetta. "We didn't know much about the company until we started looking at the pay packages in
the magazines. We feel very fortunate to have found them."

In their free time, Lynetta works puzzles, watches TV and simply relaxes.
Jason enjoys camping and fishing. The Walls have two sons, ages 14 and 10.

The FFE Clean Slate Lease program offers drivers the opportunity to own a truck with no money down and the added benefit of a business support system.
Credit isn't an issue as long as drivers have a clean DAC and MVR. New drivers to the company can also enjoy a soft landing by taking advantage of FFE's Fresh Start Program. In this program, drivers are eligible for a waiver of certain fixed costs during their first four weeks and a $150.0 fuel credit for the first two weeks. Even better, successful lease contractors are rewarded with the option of new trucks complete with an APU.

FFE is seeking company drivers and owner operators who have a good work ethic and like to earn good money. Owner Operators average $1.11 per mile and receive an annual incentive at the end of their first year. Plus FFE has just introduced a new mileage contract that gives Owner Operators the best of both worlds at .93 cpm for truckload shipments and an even higher rate for hauling those special FFE LTL shipments. It just can't get any better! If you are looking for your hidden gem, call FFE at 1-800-569-9298 to find out more why Jason and Lynetta have made this their home. Or you can visit www.ffeinc.com.

DANNY O’QUINN, JR. GETS FIFTH TOP TEN FINISH OF 2006 BY FINISHING NINTH AT MEMPHIS MOTORSPORTS PARK

    Roush_2
Danny O’Quinn, Jr. and the Barr-Nunn Transportation associate sponsored No. 50 Ford Fusion

MEMPHIS, TN – Danny O’Quinn, Jr. has said in several interviews after his fifth place finish at Charlotte that he hoped the Barr-Nunn associate sponsored No. 50 team could carry that momentum into Memphis and that is exactly what they did!

Throughout practice on Friday O’Quinn, Jr. told his team that they had built him a good race car and that he was going to be fast, and fast he was. O’Quinn, Jr. started the race in 25th position, but quickly moved into the top 15 where he remained throughout the rest of the race.

When it came time for the team to make their first pit stop crew chief Drew Blickensderfer was hesitant to make any changes to the car. O’Quinn, Jr. radioed that it was getting loose up off the corners and Blickensderfer feared that it would only get worse if no changes were made. So, when he came down pit road on lap 48 the crew gave O’Quinn, Jr. four fresh tires, fuel and took a pound of air out of each of the rear tires.

O’Quinn, Jr. headed back out on the track gaining three positions and running 15th. Ten laps later he radioed to his team to let them know that the car was really good and that the number one priority from here on out was to save the brakes.

By lap 100 the field was working on the fourth caution of the day and O’Quinn, Jr. was making his second trip down pit road. Blickensderfer ordered four tires, fuel and another track bar adjustment for O’Quinn, Jr. When the green flag came back out on lap 103 the Barr-Nunn associate sponsored No. 50 Ford was in 11th place.

O’Quinn, Jr. continued to praise his team throughout the day at what a great job they had done preparing his car for the weekend and that he was very happy with the handling at that point.

The team made their final stop of the day with 43 laps on their tires. They took four fresh tires and fuel to help them really push for a good finish.

The wrecks continued throughout the rest of the 250 lap race and O’Quinn, Jr. steadily maintained 11th place.

When the caution came out for the final time on lap 246 a green white checker finish was inevitable. O’Quinn, Jr. was still in 11th place as the pack came out of turn three and headed for the checkered flag. As he rounded turn four the wrecking began. O’Quinn, Jr. was able to thread the needle and crossed the finish line in nineth place.

“It was another great race for the No. 50 team, said O’Quinn, Jr. “These guys built me a great race car and it showed. I hate that I qualified where I did, but the day turned out to be pretty good. Everybody did a great job in the pits and I got a lot of help from my spotter with missing all those wrecks out there today.”

Danny O’Quinn, Jr. and the associate sponsored Barr-Nunn No. 50 team will compete next in the O’Reilly Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday November 4th.

New Clean Air, Fuel Saving Technology Arrives at Florida Truck Stops

A new technology that improves air quality, conserves fuel and puts better rested long-haul drivers on the highways has been installed in two of Florida's largest truck stops, both along the heavily traveled I-75 corridor.

IdleAire Technologies Corporation, a Knoxville, Tennessee-based company, has completed installation of its patented, award-winning Advanced Truckstop Electrification (ATER) technology in the TravelCenters of America (TA) location at Exit 66 in Wildwood, and the Petro Stopping Center at Exit 368 in Ocala. The Florida installations are part of the company's national deployment of more than 200 new locations announced earlier this year.

By providing filtered central heating and air conditioning, along with electrical outlets and a variety of communications and entertainment options into each truck cab, IdleAire allows long-haul drivers to shut off their engines instead of idling them to maintain comfortable cab temperatures while resting. Drivers are required to rest for at least 10 hours for every
    11 on the road.

"If each of the total 141 spaces we have equipped with IdleAire is used only for the minimum 10-hour rest period, then we can eliminate 5,454 metric tons of diesel emissions annually and conserve over 514,000 gallons of fuel that would have been wasted idling," said IdleAire Executive Vice President Lynn Youngs. "Of course the spaces are available 24 hours a day, not just 10."

IdleAire installs, operates and maintains the system, which also provides a phone line, multiple ways to access high-speed Internet, television and movies on demand. The only equipment any truck needs to access the system is a $10 window adapter that allows IdleAire's service module to fit in the passenger window.

Fleets with signed agreements with IdleAire pay $1.85 an hour for basic services. Over 1,700 fleets have such agreements with the company and many fleets pay for IdleAire's basic services for their company drivers because of the savings in fuel, maintenance and engine wear & tear, and because it serves as a driver retention and recruitment tool.

Since its first three small installations in 2001, the company has delivered over 9 million hours of service to drivers and fleets across the nation.

    About IdleAire

IdleAire Technologies Corporation was formed in June 2000 to develop a high quality, reliable system to deliver a wide range of convenient in-cab services that drivers would normally expect to have only at home. The services are designed as a comprehensive solution for the long-haul industry, targeting improved driver comfort, lifestyle and rest, while saving fleets the costs associated with idling, driver retention and recruitment, and driver training - all without idling the truck engine.

IdleAire's system provides 120-volt electrical outlets, filtered central heat and air conditioning, a Pentium-class computer with color touch screen interface, high-speed Internet and e-mail, both wireless and Ethernet connections for drivers with personal computers, a telephone connection and free local phone calls, premium satellite television service, movies on demand and driver continuing education, all delivered to the truck cab.

IdleAire's system has received R&D Magazine's 2003 R&D 100 Award as one of the most technologically significant products of the year, the 2004 EPA Clean Air Excellence Award, the 2004 California Governor's Environmental & Economic Leadership Award, the 2004 CALSTART Blue Sky Merit Award for commercialization of this fuel-conserving system, the
2005 Texas Environmental Excellence Award, and was a finalist in the 2005 Computerworld Honors Program.

This press release contains forward-looking statements. IdleAire wishes to caution the reader of this press release that actual results may differ from those discussed in the forward-looking statements and may be adversely affected by, among other things, risks associated with new product development and commercialization, intellectual property, regulatory approvals, competitive offerings, IdleAire's overall business strategy, and other factors described in IdleAire filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
